YINHE (Milkyway) sponge Defensive Super Soft

This very, very soft sponge is very lightweight. But it is not damping, it just has a low speed. As the thickness of the sponge increases, the speed also increases slightly. Can be used on cleats and other types of rubbers for high control with low speed and a very soft feel.

Compared to faster jaws, this one offers better defense and more control in blocking and undercutting. But the attacking capabilities are correspondingly weaker than those of the faster sponges.

The main purpose is to assemble long and other pips on this. It looks like a sponge that sits on the Butterfly Feint Long 3 pips.

Important note on assembly. First this sponge is glued to the base. Then the spikes are glued to the base. It is not recommended to assemble the spikes with this sponge without first gluing the sponge to the base, as it is very problematic with this sponge due to its peculiarities. 

Therefore, we do not do the assembly with this sponge unless it is a base assembly. We do assembly only for orders with a base. 

Sponge weight in different thicknesses:

0.7 mm - 4 g.

1.0 mm - 6 g.

1.3 mm - 7,5 g.

1.6 mm - 8,5 g.

2.0 mm - 12,5 g.
